In The Nest: Our Fledglings

Discover what it’s like to fly through the nest as a fledgling at birdsnest

Our team loves what we do and we have fun doing it! Our talents are diverse and quirky but we're all here to learn and grow together. Our traineeship program is where our passion begins!

There is always a collection of fledglings usually in their first year out of school doing their traineeship and helping out wherever needed in the nest. Marketing, styling, development, IT and photography - each year we take a fresh new group of trainees under our wings.

"I've met a lot of lovely people and made some new friends for life which is awesome". Lucinda, Styling Trainee

Each day in the nest for me is very different and you never know what you may be asked to do, which is what makes my role so exciting!
~ India, PR & Marketing Trainee

Being based in a regional town, our trainee program is a unique opportunity for local teenage fledglings to fully immerse themselves into a professional work environment straight from high school, encouraging them to grow both professionally and independently. Our fledglings leave the 12 month program with a Certificate III in Business Admin, valuable insights on general business practices and a family of wingbirds who continue to mentor them even after they have flown the nest.

The thing I love the most about birdsnest is the amount of fun we can have with work, getting to know everyone in the nest and building friendships with people in different teams, of different ages and backgrounds, everyone is so approachable and friendly.
~ Chloe, Development & Design Trainee
